| heal.abstract | Η διπλωματική εργασία διαπραγματεύεται την εξέλιξη μιας σειράς ανώνυμων κατασκευών, με έμφαση στο θέμα της κατοικίας, ανταποκρινόμενης στα δεδομένα μιας σύγχρονης κοινωνίας που χαρακτηρίζεται από συνεχή μεταβολή, σε ένα περιβάλλον οικονομικής αστάθειας. Ως περιοχή επέμβασης επιλέγεται η περιοχή της Αριδαίας και ειδικά το σύμπλεγμα χωριών όπου καλλιεργούνταν στο παρελθόν η κόκκινη πιπεριά για τη δημιουργία του μοναδικού τοπικού προϊόντος «ερυθρού Πιπερέως Καρατζόβας», του οποίου η καλλιέργεια και παραγωγή έχει μειωθεί σε μεγάλο βαθμό. Αναλύοντας πραγματικά παραδείγματα υφιστάμενων υβριδίων κατοικίας-εργασίας, συγκροτείται ένα τυπολόγιο στοιχείων ανωνυμίας που συγκροτούν την τρέχουσα ταυτότητα του τόπου. Τα στοιχεία αυτά γίνονται η αφετηρία για τον σχεδιασμό νέων τύπων κτιρίων που αντικαθιστούν ολόκληρες περιοχές στους υφιστάμενους “αστικούς” ιστούς. Τα νέα κτίρια φιλοξενούν τις διαδικασίες παραγωγής και επεξεργασίας του προϊόντος και μετατρέπουν τη συνύπαρξη σε αμοιβαία απαραίτητη και συχνά εκπληκτική. Τα νέα κτίρια ανανεώνουν το περιβάλλον των χωριών και στοχεύουν να λειτουργήσουν αντανακλαστικά για την αφύπνιση της τοπικής καλλιέργειας και αγροτικής παραγωγής. | el |
| heal.abstract | The Diploma Design Thesis deals with the evolution of a series of anonymous building elements, with a focus on dwelling, responding to the contemporary society characterized by continuous change, in an environment of economic instability. Aridea in Northern Greece is selected as the area of intervention and especially the aggregation of villages where the red pepper used to be cultivated for the creation of the unique local “Karatzova Red Pepper”, and which has been largely reduced the past years. By analyzing real examples of existing dwelling-production hybrids, a typology of anonymity elements that shape the current identity of the place is extracted. These elements become the starting point for the design of new types of build ings that replace entire areas in the existing “urban” tissues. The new buildings host pepper production processes and convert programmatic coexistence into a mutual necessity often amazing. The new buildings refresh the environment of the villages and aim to reflect on awakening local cultivation and agricultural production. | en |
