| heal.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι να ερευνήσει τη χρήση και την ερμηνεία των υποκειμένων σε δύο γλώσσες κενού υποκειμένου, στην Ελληνική και στην Αλβανική. Συγκεκριμένα μελετώνται δύο φαινόμενα που άπτονται των διεπιπέδων, η επίλυση της αναφοράς (διεπίπεδο σύνταξης-πραγματολογίας, διεπίπεδο σύνταξης- σημασιολογίας), μέσω μιας πειραματικής δοκιμασίας ερμηνείας, και η διάταξη των προτασιακών όρων και, συγκεκριμένα, η θέση του υποκειμένου σε δομές μονοθέσιων κατηγορημάτων (διεπίπεδο σύνταξης-πραγματολογίας, διεπίπεδο σύνταξης-λεξικού- σημασιολογίας), μέσω μιας πειραματικής δοκιμασίας χρήσης. Η παρούσα μελέτη δίνει τη δυνατότητα να διερευνηθούν οι προαναφερθείσες πτυχές τόσο σε ενδογλωσσικό όσο και σε διαγλωσσικό επίπεδο, εφόσον το γλωσσικό ζεύγος Ελληνική-Αλβανική δεν έχει μελετηθεί συγκριτικά στα προαναφερθέντα φαινόμενα, συνεισφέροντας με νέα δεδομένα από τις δύο εξεταζόμενες γλώσσες, αναδεικνύοντας παράλληλα μικροπαραμετρικές διαφοροποιήσεις εντός των δύο γλωσσών. | el |
| heal.abstract | The purpose of this thesis is to investigate two interface phenomena, specifically the interpretation of third-person pronominal subjects (anaphora resolution) and the use of subjects in constructions with intransitive verbs (word order), in two canonical null subject languages (NSL), Greek and Albanian, in adult monolingual speakers. The data of the study were obtained from two off-line comprehension experiments focusing on the interpretation of null and overt anaphoric expressions (offline responses in comprehension questions to investigate ambiguity resolution) (Study 1) and the use of preverbal or postverbal subjects (offline responses in comprehension questions to investigate word order) (Study 2), respectively. Greek and Albanian were compared in order to discover differences between them. The results of the two experiments show that the two languages differ. This evidences the fact that NSLs may not be identical regarding subject use and interpretation, difference which is detectable at research of other language pairs. | en |
