| heal.abstract | Η κλιματική αλλαγή αποτελεί αναμφισβήτητα ένα από τα σημαντικότερα και σύγχρονα περιβαλλοντικά προβλήματα. Θεωρείται το βασικότερο ζήτημα που θα απασχολήσει τις επόμενες γενιές καθώς επηρεάζει πολύ σημαντικούς τομείς της ζωής μας όπως την υγεία, την οικονομία και τον φυσικό κόσμο. Η περιβαλλοντική εκπαίδευση έχει σκοπό να ευαισθητοποιήσει, να ενημερώσει και να προτρέψει τους αυριανούς πολίτες να αναλάβουν δράση ώστε να γίνουν περιβαλλοντικά ενεργοί με στόχο τον περιορισμό του φαινομένου. Μέσω της εκπαίδευσης μπορούν να δημιουργηθούν ισχυρά θεμέλια στην διαμόρφωση στάσεων και στην υιοθέτηση συμπεριφορών σε παιδιά όλων των ηλικιών. Στην παρούσα εργασία διερευνήθηκαν οι ιδέες των παιδιών γύρω από ζητήματα που αφορούν την κλιματική αλλαγή και κατά πόσο αυτές μεταβλήθηκαν έπειτα από μια διδακτική παρέμβαση που έγινε μέσω της μεθόδου STEAM. Μέσα από την εκπαίδευση STEAM οι μαθητές έχουν τη δυνατότητα να αναπτύξουν τις δεξιότητες του 21ου αιώνα. Η έρευνα πραγματοποιήθηκε το σχολικό έτος 2020-2021 σε τμήμα νηπιαγωγείου αποτελούμενο από 10 παιδιά, ηλικίας 4 και 5 ετών. Η έρευνα αποτελείται από τρεις φάσεις. Στην πρώτη φάση πραγματοποιήθηκαν ατομικές, ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις για να διερευνηθούν οι αρχικές ιδέες των παιδιών σε θέματα που αφορούν την κλιματική αλλαγή ώστε να σχεδιαστεί και το αντίστοιχο εκπαιδευτικό υλικό που θα χρησιμοποιούνταν στην επόμενη φάση. Στην δεύτερη φάση υλοποιήθηκε η διδακτική παρέμβαση με δραστηριότητες STEAM σχετικές με την κλιματική αλλαγή. Στην τρίτη και τελευταία φάση πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι ίδιες ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις ως μέσο αξιολόγησης της εκπαιδευτικής παρέμβασης που προηγήθηκε. Η σύγκριση των απαντήσεων των μαθητών πριν και μετά τη διδακτική παρέμβαση ανέδειξε σημαντικές διαφοροποιήσεις και οι μαθητές κατανόησαν σε μεγαλύτερο βαθμό τις αιτίες της κλιματικής αλλαγής και τις σοβαρές συνέπειες της. | el |
| heal.abstract | Climate change is undoubtedly one of the most important and modern environmental problems. It is considered the most important issue that will concern the next generations as it affects very important areas of our lives such as health, economy and the natural world. Environmental education aims to raise awareness, inform and encourage tomorrow's citizens to take action to become environmentally active in order to reduce the phenomenon. Through education, strong foundations can be created in the formation of attitudes and the adoption of behaviors in children of all ages. .This thesis explored children's ideas about issues related to climate change and whether they changed after a didactic intervention made through the STEAM method. Through STEAM education students have the opportunity to develop the skills of the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to explore children's ideas about climate change issues and whether they have changed following a STEAM teaching intervention. The research was conducted in the school year 2020-2021 in a kindergarten department consisting of 9 children, aged 4 and 5 years. The research consists of three phases. In the first phase, were conducted semi-structured interviews to explore the children's initial ideas on issues related to climate change in order to design the corresponding educational material that would be used in the next phase. In the second phase, the didactic intervention was implemented with STEAM activities related to climate change. In the third and last phase, the same semi-structured interviews were conducted as a means of evaluating the previous educational intervention. The comparison of the student's responses before and after the teaching intervention highlighted significant differences and the students understood to a greater extent the causes of climate change and its serious consequences. | en |
