| heal.abstract | Η ερευνητική εργασία ασχολείται με την έννοια του τουρισμού και τις μεταβάσεις καθώς επίσης και τις αλλαγές που η σύγχρονη εκδοχή του επιφέρει στον τόπο, εξετάζοντας τον συγκεκριμένο χώρο της ελληνικής παραλίας. Στο πρώτο μέρος παρουσιάζονται δεδομένα και χρήσιμοι ορισμοί γύρω από την έννοια του τουρισμού από τη βιβλιογραφία. Στο δεύτερο μέρος παρουσιάζεται αναλυτικά η μεθοδολογία και η προσέγγιση της Σούζαν Μπακ-Μορς, η οποία εντοπίζει και επισημαίνει στοιχεία μετάβασης σε ένα μικρό χωριό της Κρήτης από την έλευση του τουρισμού σε διάφορες φάσεις, μέσω μιας ορισμένης παράθεσης εικόνων. Στο τρίτο μέρος η έρευνα εστιάζει στην ελληνική παραλία, η οποία είναι ένας τόπος διαρκούς μετάβασης. Μελετάται η σχέση του ανθρώπου με την ακτή και αναλύονται διάφορα παραδείγματα με βάση εικόνες και αρχιτεκτονικά έργα που συνθέτουν επίσης μια παράθεση εικόνων ανάλογη με εκείνη της προσέγγισης της Μπακ-Μορς. Στο συμπέρασμα επιδιώκονται συσχετισμοί της μετάβασης στις σχέσεις ντόπιων και τουριστών με τη μετάβαση στη σχέση φυσικού τοπίου παραλίας και υποδομών αντίστοιχα. | el |
| heal.abstract | The research thesis deals with tourism and the ways its contemporary version, mass tourism, has altered the Greek landscape, specifically the seashore and the beach. The multiple definitions of tourism as seen in relevant literature are presented in the first part. Through an examination of Susan Buck-Morss's methodology and approach (including visual analysis), in part two, a number of transitional phases are detected on the Cretan seaside village Myrtos. In part three, the thesis turns specifically to the Greek beach, approaching it as a place in constant transition. People's relationship over the past centuries with the sea and the shore are studied, using an array of examples, including images and architecture projects.
