| heal.abstract | Η μεταπτυχιακή διπλωματική εργασία που ακολουθεί αποτελεί μια ποιοτική έρευνα, η οποία μελετά τη σημασία του ρόλου του νοσηλευτή στη διαχείριση του πόνου ασθενών που έχουν υποβληθεί σε διαγνωστική υστεροσκόπηση χωρίς νάρκωση. Αρχικά πραγματοποιήθηκε μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση, η οποία αφορά την υστεροσκόπηση ως ιατρική πράξη, το ρόλο του νοσηλευτή στη διαχείριση του πόνου γενικά αλλά και ειδικά στην υστεροσκόπηση, και τέλος την διεθνή βιβλιογραφία σχετική με παρόμοιες ποιοτικές έρευνες. Η ποιοτική έρευνα έλαβε χώρα σε ένα μικρό και συγκεκριμένο δείγμα ασθενών ενός ιδιωτικού ιατρείου, με τη μορφή συνεντεύξεων, μέσω τηλεφώνου ή της εφαρμογής SKYPE, (εξαιτίας των συνθηκών που επικρατούν λόγω της COVID-19), ηχογραφήθηκαν, καταγράφηκαν λεπτομερώς και στη συνέχεια αναλύθηκαν διεξοδικά και προέκυψαν πληροφορίες και συμπεράσματα για το κύριο ερευνητικό ερώτημα. Το σύνολο των συμμετεχουσών θεωρεί ότι επωφελήθηκε από την παρουσία του νοσηλευτή κατά τη διάρκεια της διαγνωστικής υστεροσκόπησης και μπόρεσε με τον τρόπο αυτό να αντιμετωπίσει τον πόνο που αισθάνθηκε, ενώ οι συμμετέχουσες που υποβλήθηκαν στην εξέταση απουσία νοσηλευτή, φαίνεται να πιστεύουν ότι η παρουσία νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού θα μπορούσε να είναι ευεργετική στην αντιμετώπιση του πόνου. | el |
| heal.abstract | The following master thesis is a qualitative research, which studies the importance of the nurse’s role in pain management in outpatient hysteroscopy. Initially, a literature review was conducted, which concerns hysteroscopy as a medical practice, the nurse’s role in pain management in general and specifically in outpatient hysteroscopy, and finally some works cited in relation to this research. The qualitative research took place in a small and specific sample of patients of a private practice, in the form of interviews, (by telephone or the SKYPE application, due to the limitations of COVID-19), which were recorded, noted in detail and analyzed in order to draw information and conclusions on the main research question. All participants felt that they had benefited from the nurse's presence during the diagnostic hysteroscopy and was able to cope with the pain, while the participants who underwent the examination in the absence of a nurse, seem to believe that the presence of a nursing staff could be beneficial in treating the pain. | en |
