| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα μελέτη εστιάζει στη σχέση ανώτατης εκπαίδευσης και αγοράς εργασίας. Εξετάζει τις αντιλήψεις και τις εμπειρίες των πτυχιούχων από τις εκπαιδευτικές τους διαδρομές στην εργασιακή τους διαδρομή. Είναι απόφοιτοι πανεπιστημίου, που μεγάλωσαν και κατοικούν στο Μέτσοβο, μια μικρή, ιστορική κωμόπολη της Ηπείρου. Συγκεκριμένα, η μελέτη διερεύνησε το κοινωνικό περιβάλλον στο οποίο μεγάλωσαν και έδρασαν οι απόφοιτοι. Εξετάστηκαν διάφοροι παράγοντες, όπως το οικογενειακό περιβάλλον, το φύλο, καθώς και η οικονομική κρίση που πέρασε και περνά η χώρα και επηρέασε τον πληθυσμό της πλήττοντας ιδιαίτερα τον τομέα της εργασίας. Στην έρευνα χρησιμοποιήθηκε η ποιοτική μέθοδος συλλογής δεδομένων μέσω των ημιδομημένων συνεντεύξεων. Η ανάλυση ανέδειξε χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα για τη μετάβαση των αποφοίτων στην αγορά εργασίας και την εργασιακή τους πορεία. Ειδικότερα, τα βασικότερα αποτελέσματα για την περίπτωση του Μετσόβου, ήταν η συμβολή του οικογενειακού περιβάλλοντος στην επιλογή εισαγωγής στο Πανεπιστήμιο, αλλά και το ισχυρό φαινόμενο της έτερο-απασχόλησης της πλειοψηφίας των συμμετεχόντων. Με αφορμή στοιχεία των συνεντεύξεων, συζητήθηκαν και άλλα κοινωνικά θέματα, όπως η ανισότητα των φύλων στην εργασία, αλλά και ο ρόλος του κοινωνικού υποβάθρου. | el |
| heal.abstract | This study focuses on the relationship between higher education and the labour market. It examines the perceptions and experiences of graduates from their educational paths on their work path. They are university graduates, who grew up and reside in Metsovo, a small, historic town of Epirus. More specifically, we focused on the transition process from the University to the labor market and explored the social environment in which graduates grew up and acted. Various factors were examined, such as the family environment, gender, as well as the country’s economic crisis that has affected its population and the labor sector. Our methodology was based on the qualitative method of data collection through semi-structured interviews. The analysis revealed useful conclusions for the transition of graduates to the labor market and their career path. In particular, the main results for the case of Metsovo were the contribution of the family environment to the choice of admission to the University and the strong phenomenon of employment-mismatch. Other social issues were also discussed, such as gender inequality in the workplace and the role of social background. | en |
