heal.abstractΗ Διαταραχή Ελλειμματικής Προσοχής και Υπερκινητικότητα (ΔΕΠ-Υ) αποτελεί ένα συχνό αναπτυξιακό σύνδρομο του οποίου η εμφάνιση καταγράφεται ολοένα και περισσότερο τα τελευταία χρόνια, ενώ πληθαίνουν και οι μελέτες που αποσκοπούν στη διερεύνηση της φύσης και των συμπτωμάτων της διαταραχής, καθώς και των καταλληλότερων παρεμβάσεων για τη διαχείρισή της.Ο στόχος αυτής της εργασίας είναι η μελέτη των νέων τεχνολογιών και ειδικότερα εστιάζοντας στη μέθοδο του facial expression analysis σε υπολογιστή σε άτομα που έχουν διαγνωστεί με ΔΕΠ-Υ. Παρατίθενται τα εξαχθέντα από την παραπάνω μελέτη, συμπεράσματα και προτείνονται μελλοντικές ενέργειες για την εναργέστερη κατανόηση της ΔΕΠ-Υ.el
heal.abstractAttention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition that has been recognized as affecting children's ability to function. Specifically, individuals whosuffer from this disorder tend to show patterns of developmentally inappropriate levels of inattentiveness, hyperactivity, or impulsivity, including lack of attention, lack of concentration, disorganization, difficulty completing tasks and being forgetful. Nowadays new technologies and modern methods can also offer alternative perspective on ADHD’s diagnostic and intervention strategies. This dissertation aims to study facial expression analysis for children with ADHD. The results of the study are reported indicating facial expression analysis as the method that may display aspects of receptive nonverbal language and the organization of emotional and social behavior for children with ADHD. In conclusion, method of facial expression plays a fundamental role in the long-term management of ADHD across the lifespan.en
