| heal.abstract | Ερευνητικό ζητούμενο της παρούσας διδακτορικής διατριβής είναι η ανάλυση και η ερμηνεία του πεζογραφικού έργου του Νίκου Χουλιαρά. Η προσέγγιση επιχειρείται μέσα από μια εκ του σύνεγγυς ανάγνωση των αφηγηματικών κειμένων του Χουλιαρά, από το Λούσια (1979) έως και την τελευταία συλλογή διηγημάτων Νερό στο πρόσωπο (2005). Η εργασία στην προσπάθειά της να προσδιορίσει τα κυρίαρχα χαρακτηριστικά της αφηγηματικής ποιητικής του Νίκου Χουλιαρά, τόσο στο επίπεδο της γραφής και της ρητορικής στρατηγικής όσο και στο επίπεδο της θεματικής και της ιδεολογίας (κοσμοαντίληψης), χρησιμοποιεί εκλεκτικά θεωρητικές έννοιες και στοιχεία από τα πεδία της πολιτισμικής κριτικής, της ψυχανάλυσης, της κοινωνιολογίας, της φιλοσοφίας και των διακαλλιτεχνικών προσεγγίσεων μεταξύ λογοτεχνίας και ζωγραφικής. Η μέθοδος ανάλυσης των κειμένων δίνει ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα σε βασικές οργανωτικές δομές της αφήγησης, όπως ο χρόνος, ο χώρος και τα πρόσωπα. Η ανάλυση της χρονικής δομής των κειμένων και των ποικίλων σημασιών του αφηγηματικού χώρου ανάγει το μυθοπλαστικό χρονότοπο σε κατεξοχήν πεδίο παραγωγής της σημασίας: το ρίζωμα και η περιπλάνηση, η μνήμη και η λήθη του γενέθλιου τόπου, η παραδοσιακή και η νεωτερική κοινωνία, ο τόπος της Ιστορίας, η απόσταση ανάμεσα στο παιδί και τον ενήλικα αφηγητή, η εικόνα του διχασμένου εαυτού, η μυθολογία του θανάτου και η μνήμη των αγαπημένων προσώπων αποκτούν, συχνά, σχήμα μέσα από τη διαλογική αντιπαράθεση του εδώ και του εκεί, του τότε και του τώρα, της παρουσίας και της απουσίας. Μέσα σε αυτό το πλαίσιο το ερευνητικό μας ενδιαφέρον επικεντρώνεται, μεταξύ άλλων, στους τρόπους με τους οποίους τα κείμενα επεξεργάζονται την κοινωνικό-ιστορική πραγματικότητα όσο και στις γνωστικές λειτουργίες της νοσταλγίας και της μνήμης. Η νοσταλγία, για παράδειγμα, αντιμετωπίζεται ως ένα ιστορικό συναίσθημα άμεσα συναρτημένο τόσο με το παρελθόν όσο και με το αλλοτριωτικό παρόν των ηρώων, ενώ σε άλλες περιπτώσεις η ποιητική του συναισθήματος επιχειρεί να αποτυπώσει τα διαφορετικά αισθήματα που βιώνουν οι νεαροί καλλιτέχνες και οι καθιερωμένοι συγγραφείς. Εντέλει, στο έργο του Νίκου Χουλιαρά το πένθος για τον ανέφικτο αποχωρισμό, για την απώλεια της κοιτίδας, για την υποβάθμιση του εμψυχωμένου εαυτού, για την κρίση του πολιτισμού, με άλλα λόγια το πένθος για το έλλειμμα μιας άνθησης τόσο σε ατομικό όσο και σε συλλογικό επίπεδο, βρίσκει διέξοδο μέσα από το παιχνίδι της γραφής, που ανάγεται σε μοναδική πατρίδα του πνευματικά εξόριστου συγγραφέα. | el |
| heal.abstract | The focus of the present doctoral thesis is the analysis and interpretation of the prose of Nikos Chouliaras. The approach followed in this study is a close reading of Chouliaras narrative texts, from Λούσιας (1979) to his latest collection of short stories Νερό στο πρόσωπο (2005). In an effort to identify the dominant characteristics of Nikos Chouliaras narrative poetics, both morphologically and semantically, the study uses theoretical concepts selectively, as well as elements from the disciplines of narratology, cultural criticism, psychoanalysis, sociology, philosophy and interartistic approaches from the fields of literature and painting. The method of texts analysis gives particular emphasis to basic organizational structures of the narration, such as the time, the space and the characters. The analysis of the chronological structure of the texts and the various meanings of the narrative space, renders the fictional chronotope to a predominant field which produces the meaning: the rhizome and wandering, the memory and oblivion of the birthplace, the traditional and modern society, the place of History, the distance between the child and the adult narrator, the image of the divided self, the mythology of death and the memory of the beloved ones often take shape through the dialogic conflict of the here and there, then and now. In this context, the prominent role of the poetics of emotion is realized; nostalgia, for example, is perceived as a historical emotion which is directly dependent on both the past and the alienating present of characters, while in other cases the poetics of emotion attempts to depict the different feelings experienced by young artists and established writers. Finally, in the prose work of Nikos Chouliaras the mourning for the inevitable separation, for the loss of the cradle, for the downgrading of the lively self, for the crisis of civilization, in other words, the mourning related to the lack of a growth both individually and collectively, finds a way out through the (mental) game of writing, which becomes the unique homeland of the spiritually exiled writer. | en |
