| heal.abstract | Η μελέτη της γλώσσας, με σκοπό την κατανόηση της φυσικής της προέλευσης, όπως αυτή υποδηλώνεται μέσα από τις νοητικές διεργασίες και τις δομές της χρήσης της, συνδέεται άμεσα και διαχρονικά με τη φιλοσοφία και την ψυχολογία, ενώ τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες προκαλεί το επιστημονικό ενδιαφέρον της γνωσιακής επιστήμης, και ειδικά των νευροεπιστημών. Μοναδικό και ανεκτίμητο χάρισμα του ανθρώπου, είναι πλέον γνωστό ότι η γλώσσα ερμηνεύεται μέσα από διανοητικές ικανότητες ανώτερης τάξης. Ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους φιλόσοφους και γλωσσολόγους εν ζωή, ο πολυγραφότατος Noam Chomsky, ασχολήθηκε και ασχολείται με την επιστημονική μελέτη της προέλευσης και κατάκτησης της γλώσσας, συμβάλλοντας τα μέγιστα στη δυναμική εξέλιξη της θεωρητικής και εφαρμοσμένης γλωσσολογίας. Η επιτομή της συμβολής αυτής, η θεωρία του περί Καθολικής Γραμματικής, πρεσβεύει, όπως περίτρανα δηλώνει ο τίτλος της, την οικουμενικότητα της γλώσσας, μέσα από την ανάδειξη των κοινών αρχών και παραμέτρων όλων των γλωσσών. Οικουμενική είναι και η ιδέα ότι η γλώσσα κατακτάται μέσα από την ενεργοποίηση της σκέψης και της έμφυτης γνώσης. Βέβαια, παρά την πλατωνική διάσταση της γλώσσας που αναδεικνύει ο Chomsky στη συγγραφή της Καθολικής Γραμματικής, είναι η επιρροή της Αναλυτικής Φιλοσοφίας και συγκεκριμένα της Φιλοσοφίας της Γλώσσας, στον καθορισμό και τη διερεύνηση της γλώσσας ως δημιουργία. Είναι η δημιουργική της φύση που ανατρέπει κάθε κριτική προσέγγιση που θέλει τη γλωσσική έκφραση ως μίμηση και προϊόν κοινωνικής και πολιτισμικής όσμωσης μόνο. Ο Chomsky μελετά τη γλώσσα όχι απλά επιστημονικά αλλά αριστοτεχνικά, συνδέοντας με αρμονικό τρόπο τις κλασικές φιλοσοφικές αντιλήψεις με τα ερευνητικά ευρήματα της σύγχρονης εποχής. | el |
| heal.abstract | The study of language, aiming at the understanding of its natural origin, as it is suggested through the mental processes and the structures of its use, is directly and timelessly connected with both philosophy and psychology, while, during the last decades, it provokes the scientific interest of cognitive science, especially neurosciences. A unique and invaluable gift of human nature, it is widely known that the language is interpreted through intellectual abilities of the highest order. One of the greatest philosophers and linguists alive, the prolific scientist Noam Chomsky, was and still is engaged to the scientific study of the linguistic origin and competence, contributing the best to the dynamic evolution of Theoretic and Applied Linguistics. The epitome of this contribution is considered to be his theory of Universal Grammar, which advocates, as its title denotes, the universality of language, through the demonstration of the common principles and parameters in all languages.Universal as well, is the idea that language is acquired through the activation the activation of thought and innate knowledge. Nevertheless, despite the platonic dimension of language, pointed out by Chomsky in the Universal Grammar, obvious is the influence of the Analytic Philosophy, especially the Philosophy of Language, regarding the determination and exploration of language as creativity. It is its creative nature that reverses any critical approach which interprets linguistic expression as imitation (mimesis) and product of mere social and cultural osmosis. Chomsky studies the language not just scientifically, but rather in a masterful manner, combining harmoniously the classical philosophical views with the scientific findings of the modern era. | en |
