| heal.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας αποτέλεσε η μελέτη της αντοχής στα αντιβιοτικά στελεχών E. coli που απομονώνονται από πόσιμο νερό. Η ανάλυση πραγματοποιήθηκε με βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση σε πέντε συνολικά ενότητες. Στην πρώτη ενότητα γίνεται εισαγωγή στο θέμα όπου και παρουσιάζονται τα αντιβιοτικά και η αντιμικροβιακή αντοχή ως ορισμοί και γενικές έννοιες. Στη συνέχεια παρουσιάζεται το βακτήριο E. coli και συγκεκριμένα τα καλλιεργητικά χαρακτηριστικά και οι βιοχημικές ιδιότητές του, η αντιγονική δομή, η γενετική, η παθογένεση, η πρόληψη και θεραπεία των λοιμώξεων και τέλος η αντοχή του στα αντιβιοτικά. Στην τρίτη ενότητα γίνεται εκτενής αναφορά στο νερό και στη δημόσια υγεία, παρουσιάζοντας τα ποιοτικά του χαρακτηριστικά, τους μικροβιολογικούς δείκτες και το ισχύον νομοθετικό πλαίσιο. Ακολουθούν τα χαρακτηριστικά και επιδημιολογικά δεδομένα των υδατογενών λοιμώξεων, ιδιαίτερα εκείνες οι οποίες οφείλονται στην E. coli σε συνδυασμό με την κατανάλωση πόσιμου νερού. Τέλος, στην πέμπτη ενότητα πραγματοποιείται βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση ερευνητικών εργασιών από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό σχετικά με την ύπαρξη ανθεκτικών στελεχών E. coli στο πόσιμο νερό και στην εφαρμοζόμενη μεθολογία. Η διπλωματική εργασία κλείνει με τα τελικά συμπεράσματα, που προέκυψαν από το σύνολο της μελέτης. | el |
| heal.abstract | The subject of this diploma thesis is the antimicrobial resistance of E. coli isolated from drinking water. In order to cover the issue, the analysis was conducted with a bibliographic overview in five chapters. The first chapter introduces the topic where antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance are presented as definitions and general concepts. In the second chapter, E. coli is fully analyzed, as its description, crop characteristics and biochemical properties, antigenic structure, genetics, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment, and resistance to antibiotics are presented. The third chapter covers water and public health, presenting its qualities, microbiological indicators and the legislative framework. In the fourth chapter we present the aquatic infections in combination with E. coli strains, namely drinking water and the presence of resistant E. coli strains and the epidemiological data as well. Finally, in the fifth chapter there is a bibliographic survey of researches both in Greece and abroad on the existence of resistant E. coli strains in drinking water and how they can be isolated. The diploma thesis closes with the final conclusions, drawn from the study as a whole. | en |
