| heal.abstract | Η πράξη της δωρεάς ιστών και οργάνων μπορεί και πρέπει να αποτελέσει περιεχόμενο της ατομικής και συλλογικής συνείδησης, δείγμα κοινωνικής ευαισθητοποίησης και πόλο συσπείρωσης της κοινωνίας μας την οποία έχει τόσο ανάγκη ο τόπος, στην προσπάθειά του να ανταποκριθεί στις προκλήσεις των καιρών. Ιδιαίτερα σημαντικός στην ανάπτυξη αυτού του προγράμματος θεωρείται ο ρόλος των ιατρών και του νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού των μεγάλων νοσοκομειακών μονάδων καθώς και των Συλλόγων που έχουν ως στόχο τους τη διάδοση της ιδέας, δωρεάς ιστών και οργάνων. Σκοπός: να εκτιμηθούν οι γνώσεις και οι στάσεις του νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού, που εργάζεται στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ιωαννίνων, σχετικά με τη δωρεά οργάνων, καθώς και να διερευνηθεί η ενδεχόμενη επίδραση διαφόρων παραγόντων στην πρόθεση δωρεάς οργάνων. Υλικό & Μέθοδος: η έρευνα διεξήχθη στο Π.Γ.Ν.Ι. Το δείγμα αποτέλεσαν 100 νοσηλευτές, τυχαία επιλεγμένα. Το ερωτηματολόγιο χωρίζεται σε 5 ενότητες: Κοινωνικό-δημογραφικά στοιχεία-γνώσεις σχετικά με τη δωρεά-εμπειρία δωρεάς οργάνων-πρόθεση δωρεάς. Συμπέρασμα: Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι το επίπεδο γνώσεων του, νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού σχετικά με θέματα δωρεάς οργάνων ήταν υψηλό. Είναι σημαντικό το γεγονός, ότι ο φόβος και η έλλειψη εμπιστοσύνης στις οργανώσεις και τους γιατρούς συγκεντρώνουν ένα μεγάλο ποσοστό επαγγελματιών υγείας, οι οποίοι διατηρούν αρνητική στάση απέναντι στη δωρεά οργάνων. | el |
| heal.abstract | The practice of organ and tissue donation can and must become part of individual and collective consciousness, an example of social sensitization and a point at which our community can come together, which this country so greatly needs in its attempts to respond to the challenges of the times. The role of the doctors and the nursing staff in the big hospitals is considered especially significant to the development of this program, as is that of the Associations which aim to spread the idea of tissue and organ donation. Aim: To estimate the knowledge of the nursing staff which works in the University public hospital of Ioannina in relation to organ donation, as well as to investigate the possible effect of various factors on the public´s willingness to donate organs. Material & Method: The research was conducted at the University Hospital of Ioannina. The sample consisted of 100 nurses, chosen at random. The questionnaire is divided into five units: socio-demographic details, knowledge regarding organ donation, experience with organ donation and willingness to donate. Conclusion: The results show that the level of knowledge of the nursing staff regarding matters of organ donation was high. It is significant that a very large percentage of people in the field of professional health fear and do not trust organizations and doctors, and maintain a negative stance against organ donation. | en |
