The room temperature ferromagnetism in (Sn1-xM x)O2 (M= Mn, fe, Co, x=0.65) ceramics was investigated. Energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDAX) was used for the elemental analysis and mapping of the samples, and x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used for the phase analysis of the samples. It was observed from EDAX analysis that the nominal transition metal concentration was exhibited by the samples. Room temperature saturation magnetization for (Sn0.95Fe 0.5)O and (Sn0.95Mn)O0.5 was found to be 1.8 and 0.2 Am2kg-1 respectively, and corresponded to a moment of 0.95 or 0.11 μB per Fe or Mn atom.en
