All step-stressmodelsdiscussedsofarintheliteraturearebasedonasingleexperiment. For thesituationwhendatahavebeencollectedfromdifferentexperimentswhereinallthe test unitshadbeenexposedtothesamelevelsofstressbutwithpossiblydifferentpointsof change ofstress,weintroduceamodelthatcombinesthedifferentexperimentsandfacilitates a meta-analysisfortheestimationofthemeanlifetimes.Wethendiscussindetailthelikeli- hood inferenceforthecaseofsimplestep-stressexperimentsunderexponentiallydistributed lifetimes withType-IIcensoring.en
