This paper studies the two dimensional flow of an electrically conducting fluid which is an optically thin gray gas past a stationary vertical infinite plate in the presence of radiation. It is assumed that the temperature of the plate and the suction at the plate are constant. The presence of the induced magnetic field is also taken into account. Numerical solutions for the velocity and the induced magnetic field are derived and the effects of the radiation parameter are discussed.en
