| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια διερεύνησης της σχέσης των θεωρητικά ασύμβατων προσεγγίσεων της παραδοσιακής και της εξελικτικής κουλτούρας στην κοινωνική επιτέλεση του αργεντίνικου τάνγκο, μέσα στο εθιμοτυπικά οικείο περιβάλλον που είναι αυτό των milongas. Αρχικά γίνεται μια αναφορά των κοινωνικών χαρακτηριστικών του αργεντίνικου τάνγκο, στη συνέχεια μία ανάλυση των δύο χορευτικών ειδών του τάνγκο Νουέβο και του τάνγκο Σαλόν ενώ υπάρχει και μία σύγκριση των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών των δύο ειδών μέσα από βίντεο με shows δημοφιλών χορευτών-εκπροσώπων του κάθε είδους. Τέλος, καταγράφεται μια επιτόπια έρευνα στις μεγαλύτερες milongas του αστικού κέντρου της Αθήνας. Η έρευνα περιείχε συμμετοχική παρατήρηση και συνεντεύξεις, στο πεδίο. Τα ευρήματα συνθέτουν επαρκώς την εικόνα του σύγχρονου περιβάλλοντος της παραδοσιακής μιλόνγκα στην Αθήνα. Στις milongas της Αθήνας, αν κάποιος είναι ικανά ενημερωμένος ή εξοικειωμένος με το αργεντίνικο τάνγκο, μπορεί να παρατηρήσει τη συνύπαρξη χορευτών Tango de Salon και χορευτών Tango Nuevo, στην ίδια πίστα. Το αποτέλεσμα κρίνεται άκρως ενδιαφέρον. Αυτό συμβαίνει κυρίως ελλείψει διοργανώσεων Tango Nuevo milongas, αντιθέτως υπάρχει μια πληθώρα από παραδοσιακές milongas “κλειστού τύπου”, “ημίκλειστου τύπου”, και “ανοιχτού τύπου”, που διοργανώνονται σε εβδομαδιαία βάση και στις οποίες είναι κυρίαρχη η μουσική της “χρυσής εποχής” του τάνγκο 1935-55. | el |
| heal.abstract | This paper is an attempt to explore the relationship between the theoretically incompatible approaches of traditional and evolutionary culture to the social performance of Argentine tango, within the etiologically familiar environment of milongas. First there is a reference to the social characteristics of the Argentine tango, then an analysis of the two dancing genres of tango Nuevo and tango salon while there is a comparison of the technical characteristics of the two genres through videos with shows of popular dancers-representatives of each genre. Finally, an on-site survey of the largest milongas in the urban center of Athens is recorded. The research included participatory observation and interviews, in the field, which was defined on the basis of more numerous public gatherings in milongas. The findings of the above research adequately compose the image of the modern environment of traditional milonga in Athens. In the milongas of Athens, if one is well-informed or familiar with Argentine tango, one can notice the coexistence of Tango de Salon dancers and Tango Nuevo dancers on the same track. The result is very interesting. This is mainly due to the lack of Tango Nuevo milongas, on the contrary there are a plethora of traditional milongas "closed type", "semi-closed", and "open type", which are organized on a weekly basis and in which the music of its "golden age" is predominant. tango 1935-55. | el |
