| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τα μουσικά δρώμενα που πραγματοποιήθηκαν στην Καρδίτσα κατά την περίοδο 1960-1980, με βασική πηγή την αποδελτίωση της τοπικής εφημερίδας Νέος Αγών. Η έρευνα εστιάζει στη μουσική και πολιτιστική δραστηριότητα της πόλης, όπως αυτή αποτυπώνεται μέσα από δημοσιεύματα, ανακοινώσεις, άρθρα και προαναγγελίες εκδηλώσεων της εξεταζόμενης περιόδου. Κεντρικός στόχος είναι να αναδειχθούν οι θεσμοί, οι χώροι, οι διοργανώσεις και τα πρόσωπα που συγκρότησαν το τοπικό μουσικό τοπίο της Καρδίτσας στις δεκαετίες του 1960 και του 1970. Στο πρώτο μέρος της εργασίας παρουσιάζεται το ιστορικό και κοινωνικό πλαίσιο της Καρδίτσας, καθώς και η σημασία του τοπικού Τύπου για την καταγραφή της δημόσιας και πολιτιστικής ζωής. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στην εφημερίδα Νέος Αγών, η οποία λειτούργησε όχι μόνο ως φορέας ενημέρωσης, αλλά και ως πολύτιμη ιστορική πηγή για την πολιτιστική φυσιογνωμία της περιοχής. Στο κύριο μέρος εξετάζονται βασικοί πολιτιστικοί θεσμοί, όπως ο Καλλιτεχνικός Σύλλογος «Αρίων», η Λαϊκή Βιβλιοθήκη Καρδίτσας, ο σύλλογος «Μουσικά Νιάτα» και η Ένωση Πολιτιστικών Συλλόγων. Παράλληλα, αναλύεται ο ρόλος σημαντικών χώρων εκδηλώσεων, όπως το Παυσίλυπον, το Κινηματοθέατρο «Αστέρια», το Κέντρο Παλλάς και το Πνευματικό Κέντρο Καρδίτσας. Από την έρευνα προκύπτει ότι η μουσική ζωή της Καρδίτσας δεν περιοριζόταν σε περιστασιακές εκδηλώσεις ψυχαγωγικού χαρακτήρα, αλλά αποτελούσε οργανωμένο πεδίο κοινωνικής, πολιτιστικής και θεσμικής δράσης. Τα Καραϊσκάκεια, οι χορωδιακές συναυλίες, οι χοροί συλλόγων, οι εμφανίσεις καλλιτεχνών και οι συναυλίες έντεχνης, λαϊκής και κλασικής μουσικής δείχνουν μια πόλη με ενεργό πολιτιστικό δυναμικό. Η εργασία καταλήγει ότι τα μουσικά δρώμενα της περιόδου 1960-1980 συνέβαλαν ουσιαστικά στη διαμόρφωση της τοπικής ταυτότητας, στην κοινωνική συνοχή και στην ανάδειξη της Καρδίτσας ως σημαντικού πολιτιστικού κέντρου της θεσσαλικής επαρχίας. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis researches and documents the musical events that took place in Karditsa during the period 1960-1980, through the analysis of the local newspaper Neos Agon. In the framework of this research, the musical and cultural activity of the city is examined as reflected in articles, announcements, reports and notices of musical events published in the newspaper during the period under examination. The aim of the research is to present the institutions, venues, events and people that shaped and developed the musical life of Karditsa in the 1960s and 1970s. The first part of the thesis deals with the historical framework and the social environment in which this musical activity took place, as well as with the local press in general and Neos Agon in particular, as an important record of the city’s public life and a valuable historical source for the cultural identity of the region. The study examines basic cultural institutions, such as the Artistic Association “Arion”, the Public Library of Karditsa, the association “Musical Youth” and the Union of Cultural Associations of Karditsa. It also presents the most important cultural venues and spaces of cultural promotion and exchange in Karditsa during that period, such as the historic Pafsilypo, the “Asteria” cinema-theatre, the Pallas Centre and the Cultural Centre of Karditsa. Through these different aspects, the thesis presents and analyzes the musical life of the city. The organization of musical events and the founding of associations and other cultural structures were not occasional phenomena of entertainment. On the contrary, they formed an organized field of social and cultural practice, institutional activity, performances and public events. Therefore, the study analyzes different types of musical events, such as the Karaiskakeia festival, choral concerts, association dances, artist performances and concerts of classical, art and folk music, in order to show that the musical events of the period 1960-1980 were fundamental to the formation of the city’s identity and to the social cohesion of its citizens. Finally, these events also contributed significantly to the establishment of Karditsa as an important cultural centre of the Thessalian province. | en |
