| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τη μουσική δραστηριότητα των εστουδιαντίνων στον χώρο της Μικράς Ασίας και της Ελλάδας, με έμφαση στην Εστουδιαντίνα Σιδερή και στη συμβολή του Σπύρου Περιστέρη. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι η ανάδειξη της ιστορικής και μουσικολογικής σημασίας των σχημάτων αυτών, καθώς και η διερεύνηση της εξέλιξης του ρεπερτορίου τους μέσα από τη δισκογραφία. Αρχικά παρουσιάζεται η εμφάνιση και η διάδοση του όρου «εστουδιαντίνα», καθώς και η παρουσία των αντίστοιχων μουσικών σχημάτων στη Σμύρνη και την Κωνσταντινούπολη. Στη συνέχεια εξετάζεται η δισκογραφική τους δραστηριότητα και η καταγραφή των σημαντικότερων σχημάτων. Κεντρικό σημείο της εργασίας αποτελεί η μελέτη της Εστουδιαντίνας Σιδερή, τόσο ως προς τη συγκρότηση και τη δράση της, όσο και ως προς το ρεπερτόριό της, μέσα από ανάλυση επιλεγμένων ηχογραφήσεων. Παράλληλα, αναδεικνύονται τα μουσικά χαρακτηριστικά και οι επιρροές που συνθέτουν το ύφος της. Ακολουθεί η εξέταση της πορείας του Σπύρου Περιστέρη, από τα πρώτα του χρόνια έως τη δράση του στην Αθήνα και τη σημαντική του συμβολή στη δισκογραφία ως μουσικός και καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής. Τέλος, αναλύεται η δισκογραφική του δραστηριότητα στη Νέα Υόρκη το 1935, τόσο με το σχήμα «Τα Πολιτάκια» όσο και υπό το ψευδώνυμο «Σ. Γεωργιάδης», αναδεικνύοντας στοιχεία ύφους, οργανολογίας και αισθητικής. | el |
| heal.abstract | This undergraduate thesis examines the musical activity of the estudiantina ensembles in Asia Minor and Greece, with particular emphasis on the Estudiantina of Sideris and the contribution of Spyridon Peristeris. The aim of the study is to highlight the historical and musicological significance of these ensembles, as well as to explore the evolution of their music through discography. Initially, the emergence and dissemination of the term estudiantina are presented, along with the presence of such musical ensembles in Smyrna and Constantinople. The study then focuses on their discographic activity and the documentation of the most important ensembles. A central part of the thesis is the examination of the Estudiantina of Sideris, both in terms of its formation and activity, as well as its music, through the analysis of selected recordings. Particular attention is given to the musical characteristics and influences that shape its style. Subsequently, the thesis explores the career of Spyridon Peristeris, from his early years to his activity in Athens, emphasizing his significant contribution to discography as a musician and artistic director. Finally, the study analyzes his recording activity in New York in 1935, both with the ensemble “Politakia” and under the pseudonym “S. Georgiades”, highlighting elements of style, instrumentation, and musical aesthetics. | en |
