| heal.abstract | Η κοινοτική μουσική είναι ένας ιδιαίτερος και σύγχρονος τρόπος προσέγγισης της μουσικής, καθώς αντιτίθεται στην αντίληψη που έχει παγιωθεί για τη μουσική κατά τους τελευταίους αιώνες στον Δυτικό κόσμο, η οποία επικεντρώνεται στην «ανάδειξη ταλέντων». Σύμφωνα με την προσέγγιση της κοινοτικής μουσικής, η μουσική αποκτά διαφορετικό ρόλο και σημασία από αυτή που είχε για πάρα πολλά χρόνια στις κοινωνίες των ανθρώπων. Στην εργασία αυτή παραθέτουμε ένα θεωρητικό κομμάτι για την κοινοτική μουσική και έπειτα μελετάμε την περίπτωση της «Ανοιχτής Ορχήστρας», ενός συνόλου με έδρα την Αθήνα με έντονα κοινοτικό χαρακτήρα, καθώς η δομή της, η οργάνωσή, αλλά και ο τρόπος λειτουργίας της, διαφέρουν πολύ από τις συνηθισμένες ορχήστρες. Εκτός από τις βιβλιογραφικές αναφορές, αντλήσαμε αρκετές πληροφορίες από συνεντεύξεις με μέλη της ομάδας, παρατηρώντας ότι η υπάρχουσα βιβλιογραφία φάνηκε να συμφωνεί σε μεγάλο βαθμό με τα αποτελέσματα της παρούσας έρευνα. | el |
| heal.abstract | Community music constitutes a distinctive and contemporary approach to engaging with music, as it challenges the conception that has become entrenched over recent centuries in the Western world, which centers on the “cultivation and promotion of talent.” According to the principles of community music, music assumes a role and significance that differ substantially from those it has held for many years within human societies. This thesis first presents a theoretical framework for community music and subsequently examines the case of the “Open Orchestra”, an ensemble based in Athens with a pronounced community-oriented character. Its structure, organization, and mode of operation diverge considerably from those of conventional orchestras. In addition to bibliographic sources, a substantial portion of the data was derived from interviews with members of the ensemble.
