| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει την επίδραση της ψηφιακής τεχνολογίας στην οικονομία, με έμφαση στην τεχνητή νοημοσύνη και την αυτοματοποίηση. Η ραγδαία ανάπτυξη των τεχνολογιών αυτών έχει αναδιαμορφώσει τις παραγωγικές διαδικασίες, τα επιχειρησιακά μοντέλα και τη δομή της απασχόλησης. Στο θεωρητικό μέρος παρουσιάζονται οι βασικές έννοιες της ψηφιακής οικονομίας, οι επιδράσεις της στην παραγωγικότητα, την πράσινη ανάπτυξη και τη διαχείριση γνώσης, καθώς και οι μετασχηματισμοί στην αγορά εργασίας. Το εμπειρικό μέρος βασίστηκε σε δεδομένα της Eurostat(2023–2024) τα οποία καταδεικνύουν αύξηση της χρήσης τεχνητής νοημοσύνης στις ευρωπαϊκές επιχειρήσεις, με διαφοροποιήσεις ανά μέγεθος, κλάδο και χώρα. Η ανάλυση ανέδειξε ότι η υιοθέτηση ψηφιακών τεχνολογιών συνδέεται θετικά με την παραγωγικότητα και την ανταγωνιστικότητα, ενώ δημιουργεί ταυτόχρονα νέες ευκαιρίες για καινοτομία και ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων. Ωστόσο, οι αλλαγές συνοδεύονται και από προκλήσεις, όπως η απώλεια παραδοσιακών θέσεων εργασίας, οι ανισότητες στην πρόσβαση στην τεχνολογία και η ανάγκη συνεχούς επανακατάρτισης του ανθρώπινου δυναμικού. Παράλληλα, επισημάνθηκε ο ρόλος της ψηφιακής τεχνολογίας στην πράσινη και κυκλική οικονομία, με την ενίσχυση της αποδοτικότητας πόρων και τη στήριξη βιώσιμων επιχειρηματικών πρακτικών. Συνολικά, η μελέτη επιβεβαιώνει ότι η ψηφιακή τεχνολογία αποτελεί κρίσιμο παράγοντα για την οικονομική και κοινωνική ανάπτυξη, υπό την προϋπόθεση ότι θα πλαισιωθεί από πολιτικές που ενισχύουν την ισόρροπη κατανομή των ωφελειών και την κοινωνική συνοχή. Η εργασία καταλήγει σε προτάσεις για στρατηγικές ενίσχυσης της καινοτομίας, επενδύσεις σε ψηφιακές δεξιότητες και υποστήριξη της μετάβασης σε ένα πιο ανθεκτικό και βιώσιμο οικονομικό μοντέλο. | el |
| heal.abstract | his master’s thesis examines the impact of digital technology on the economy, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and automation. The rapid development of these technologies has reshaped production processes, business models and the structure of employment. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts of the digital economy, its effects on productivity, green growth and knowledge management, as well as transformations in the labor market. The empirical part was based on Eurostat data which demonstrate an increase in the use of artificial intelligence in European enterprises, with variations by size, sector and country. The analysis showed that the adoption of digital technologies is positively associated with productivity and competitiveness, while at the same time creating new opportunities for innovation and skills development. However, the changes are also accompanied by challenges, such as the loss of traditional jobs, inequalities in access to technology and the need for continuous retraining of human resources. At the same time, the role of digital technology in the green and circular economy was highlighted, by enhancing resource efficiency and supporting sustainable business practices. Overall, the study confirms that digital technology is a crucial factor for economic and social development, provided that it is framed by policies that enhance the balanced distribution of benefits and social cohesion. The work concludes with proposals for strategies to strengthen innovation, invest in digital skills and support the transition to a more resilient and sustainable economic model. | en |
