| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία επικεντρώνεται στη μελέτη της πολιτισμικής ταυτότητας των Ποντίων, με έμφαση στην αναπαράσταση, διατήρηση και μετασχηματισμό της , μέσω των σύγχρονων μορφών έκφρασης και των πρακτικών της διασποράς. Αρχικά, εξετάζεται το ιστορικό πλαίσιο του Ποντιακού Ελληνισμού, από τις απαρχές της εγκατάστασής του στον Εύξεινο Πόντο έως τη Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή και τον βίαιο ξεριζωμό του 20ού αιώνα. Στη συνέχεια, αναλύονται οι τρόποι με τους οποίους οι απόγονοι των Ποντίων προσφύγων επεξεργάζονται τη συλλογική μνήμη και οικοδομούν την ταυτότητά τους μέσα από πολιτισμικά μέσα, όπως η μουσική, ο χορός και η γλώσσα. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στο ρόλο της παράδοσης και του λαϊκού πολιτισμού ως μηχανισμών αναπαραγωγής της εθνοπολιτισμικής κληρονομιάς, ενώ παράλληλα διερευνώνται τα φαινόμενα μετασχηματισμού αυτών των πρακτικών στο πλαίσιο της νεωτερικότητας και της παγκοσμιοποίησης. Η εργασία αξιοποιεί τη σύγχρονη βιβλιογραφία, εμπειρικά δεδομένα και ανάλυση περιπτωσιολογικών μελετών, φωτίζοντας τις συγκρούσεις, τις αναπροσαρμογές και τις στρατηγικές επιβίωσης που υιοθετούν οι Πόντιοι σήμερα για να διατηρήσουν την πολιτισμική τους ιδιαιτερότητα. | el |
| heal.abstract | The current paper is devoted to the discussion of the cultural identity of the Pontic Greeks paying attention to its expression, preservation, and change by means of contemporary means of expression and diaspora proceedings. It starts with the historical exposition of Pontic Hellenism, since its settlement in the Black Sea coast in ancient times up until the Asia Minor Catastrophe and the bloody displacement of the XX-th century. The analysis shifts to the aspects of how the descendants of Pontic refugees retrospectively process collective memory and how they name themselves through various tools that reflect the culture such as music, dance, and language. The role of tradition and folk culture as reproduction system of ethnocultural heritage is particularly stressed, but the study also explores the changes in these processes under the conditions of the modern day and globalization.
