| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία εστιάζει στην ανάλυση κι εναρμόνιση επτά επιλεγμένων τραγουδιών του Βασίλη Τσιτσάνη τα οποία προσεγγίζονται από την οπτική της λαϊκής κιθάρας. Με κεντρικό άξονα τη συμμετοχή του κιθαρίστα Γιάννη Δέδε, εξετάζονται τα αρμονικά και μελωδικά χαρακτηριστικά των τραγουδιών, ενώ προτείνονται εναλλακτικές προσεγγίσεις που εμπλουτίζουν το αρμονικό περιβάλλον με χρήση μπασογραμμών και διαφοροποιημένων συγχορδιακών επιλογών. Η μεθοδολογία περιλαμβάνει θεωρητική ανάλυση βασισμένη στην τροπικότητα και τη δυτικότροπη εναρμόνιση, αντλώντας στοιχεία από τη θεωρία των λαϊκών δρόμων, τη χρήση συγχορδιών και την ανάπτυξη τονικών κέντρων. Παράλληλα, αναπτύσσονται πρακτικές εφαρμογές μέσα από καταγραφές και παρτιτούρες σε δυτική σημειογραφία, προσαρμοσμένες στο ύφος της λαϊκής κιθάρας. Η εργασία οργανώνεται σε τέσσερα κεφάλαια: το πρώτο εισάγει τη λαϊκή κιθάρα και το έργο του Βασίλη Τσιτσάνη, το δεύτερο αναλύει θεωρητικά τα δομικά στοιχεία της εναρμόνισης, το τρίτο παρουσιάζει αναλυτικά τις αρχικές καταγραφές των τραγουδιών και το τέταρτο προτείνει τις εναλλακτικές συνοδείες (μπασογραμμές). Ολοκληρώνεται με τη διατύπωση συμπερασμάτων που αναδεικνύουν τη σημασία της εναλλακτικής εναρμόνισης για τη διατήρηση και ανανέωση του λαϊκού ήχου. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι να διερευνήσει τα μουσικά φαινόμενα που παρατηρούνται σε εκτελέσεις του αστικού λαϊκού τραγουδιού και κατ’ επέκταση να αναδείξει νέες προσεγγίσεις εναρμόνισης που σέβονται τη φυσιογνωμία της λαϊκής μουσικής και εμπλουτίζουν τον συνοδευτικό ρόλο της κιθάρας όπως αυτός διαμορφώνεται πότε υπό το πρίσμα της τροπικότητας και πότε υπό της τονικής λογικής. | heal.abstract | The present thesis focuses on the analysis and harmonisation of seven selected songs by Vassilis Tsitsanis, approached from the perspective of the laiki guitar. Centered around the participation of guitarist Giannis Dedes, the study examines the harmonic and melodic characteristics of the songs, while proposing alternative approaches that enrich the harmonic environment through the use of bass lines and diversified chordal choices. The methodology includes theoretical analysis based on modality and Western-style harmonisation, drawing elements from the theory of laikoi modes ("dromoi"), the use of chords, and the development of tonal centers. In parallel, practical applications are developed through transcriptions and scores in Western notation, adapted to the style of the popular guitar. The thesis is structured into four chapters: the first introduces the laiki guitar and the work of Vassilis Tsitsanis; the second theoretically analyses the structural elements of harmonisation; the third presents detailed transcriptions of the original recordings; and the fourth proposes alternative accompaniments (bass lines). It concludes with a presentation of findings that highlight the importance of alternative harmonisation for the preservation and renewal of the laiko sound. The aim of this study is to explore the musical phenomena observed in performances of urban folk song (astiko laïkó tragoudi), and, by extension, to highlight new approaches to harmonisation that both respect the character of folk music and enrich the accompanying role of the guitar—as shaped at times through the lens of modality, and at others through tonal logic. The work combines the personal experience of the researcher as both a performer and a teacher of laiki guitar, enriching theoretical research with practical knowledge and aesthetic proposals. | en |
