| heal.abstract | Η βιολογική καλλιέργεια εσπεριδοειδών στη Λακωνία αποτελεί ένα αναδυόμενο πεδίο στον αγροτικό τομέα, προσφέροντας σημαντικές δυνατότητες για βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη και περιβαλλοντική προστασία. Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει την υφιστάμενη κατάσταση της βιολογικής καλλιέργειας εσπεριδοειδών στη Λακωνία, αξιολογώντας τις πρακτικές που ακολουθούνται, τις προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι παραγωγοί, και τις προοπτικές για το μέλλον. Η βιολογική καλλιέργεια εσπεριδοειδών στη Λακωνία βρίσκεται σε ανάπτυξη, με αυξανόμενο ενδιαφέρον από πλευράς των αγροτών. Παρά ταύτα, παρατηρούνται σημαντικές προκλήσεις, όπως το υψηλό κόστος παραγωγής, η έλλειψη τεχνογνωσίας και προβλήματα στη διάθεση των προϊόντων. Επιπλέον, οι παραγωγοί αντιμετωπίζουν δυσκολίες στην αντιμετώπιση των ασθενειών και των παρασίτων χωρίς τη χρήση χημικών ουσιών, που ανεβάζουν το κόστος της καλλιέργειας. Ωστόσο, η αυξανόμενη ζήτηση για βιολογικά προϊόντα τόσο στην εγχώρια όσο και στη διεθνή αγορά δημιουργεί ευκαιρίες για τους παραγωγούς. Η ενίσχυση της εκπαίδευσης και της υποστήριξης προς τους αγρότες, η ανάπτυξη συνεργατικών σχημάτων και η βελτίωση των υποδομών μπορεί να συμβάλλουν στην περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του τομέα. Συμπερασματικά, η βιολογική καλλιέργεια εσπεριδοειδών στη Λακωνία παρουσιάζει σημαντικές προοπτικές για βιώσιμη αγροτική ανάπτυξη. Η ενίσχυση της υποστήριξης προς τους παραγωγούς και η προώθηση των βιολογικών προϊόντων μπορούν να αποτελέσουν καθοριστικούς παράγοντες για την επιτυχία και την περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του κλάδου. | el |
| heal.abstract | The organic cultivation of citrus fruits in Laconia is an emerging field in the agricultural sector, offering significant potential for sustainable development and environmental protection. This thesis examines the current state of organic citrus cultivation in Laconia, evaluating the practices followed, the challenges faced by producers, and the future prospects. Organic citrus cultivation in Laconia is developing, with increasing interest from farmers. However, significant challenges are observed, such as the high cost of production, lack of expertise and issues with product distribution. Additionally, producers face difficulties in managing diseases and pests without the use of chemical substances, which raises the cost of cultivation. Nevertheless, the growing demand for organic products in both domestic and international markets creates opportunities for producers. Enhancing education and support for farmers, developing cooperative schemes and improving infrastructure can contribute to further sector development. In conclusion, the organic cultivation of citrus fruits in Laconia presents significant prospects for sustainable agricultural development. Strengthening support for producers and promoting organic products can be key factors for the success and further growth of the sector. | en |
