| heal.abstract | Ο πλάτανος αφορά μία οικογένεια δέντρων με μεγάλη ιστορία στο χρόνο και στενά συνδεδεμένο με ιστορικά και πολιτιστικά στοιχεία. Τα δέντρα αυτής της κατηγορίας βρίσκονται σε πολλές περιοχές σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο ξεκινώντας από την Ασία, συνεχίζοντας στη Μεσόγειο και την Αμερική. Ανά τον κόσμο υπάρχουν πολλά είδη πλατάνου και να τα δημοφιλέστερα είναι ο ανατολικός πλάτανος, ο αμερικανικός ή δυτικός πλάτανος και ο υβριδικός πλάτανος ή ο πλάτανος του Λονδίνου. Οι λόγοι καλλιέργειας του πλατάνου ποικίλου σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο και περιλαμβάνουν τον καλλωπισμό, τη διασφάλιση της βιωσιμότητας του οικοσυστήματος ή τη διατήρηση της θερμοκρασίας σε ένα ικανοποιητικό επίπεδο. Το κύριο χαρακτηριστικό της ανάπτυξης του πλατάνου είναι ότι εντοπίζεται σε περιοχές στις οποίες υπάρχει άμεση πρόσβαση σε νερό αν και αναπτύσσεται επίσης σε πλημμυρισμένες εκτάσεις, σε βραχώδη εδάφη ή σε χαράδρες. Η ρίζα του δέντρου του πλατάνου έχει το χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα λειτουργίας σα φίλτρο, συλλέγοντας τα θρεπτικά συστατικά και βοηθώντας παράλληλα το οικοσύστημα. Ο πλάτανος αποτελεί ένα δέντρο το οποίο μπορεί να προσαρμοστεί με ευκολία στις περιβαλλοντικές συνθήκες, ωστόσο παρουσιάζει μία σημαντική ευαισθησία στα χαμηλά επίπεδα θερμοκρασιών. Το κατάλληλο pH για την ανάπτυξη του πλατάνου κυμαίνεται από ουδέτερο έως πολύ βασικό. Παρά την ανθεκτικότητα του πλατάνου σε παράσιτα έχει αρκετούς εχθρούς που μπορεί να απειλήσουν την ανάπτυξή του όπως είναι το ωΐδιο του πλατάνου, η ανθράκωση του πλατάνου και το μεταχρωματικό έλκος του πλατάνου. | el |

Trees of this category are found in many regions of the world starting from Asia, continuing to the Mediterranean and America. There are many types of sycamore around the world and the most popular are the eastern sycamore, the American or western sycamore and the hybrid sycamore or London sycamore. The reasons for cultivating the sycamore vary worldwide and include beautification, ensuring the viability of the ecosystem or maintaining the temperature at a satisfactory level. The main feature of sycamore growth is that it is found in areas with direct access to water, although it also grows in flooded areas, on rocky soils or in ravines. The root of the sycamore tree has the characteristic of acting as a filter, collecting nutrients while helping the ecosystem. The plane tree is a tree that can easily adapt to the environmental conditions; however, it shows a significant sensitivity to low temperatures. The appropriate pH for plantain growth ranges from neutral to very basic. Despite the sycamore's resistance to pests, it has several enemies that can threaten its growth, such as sycamore powdery mildew, sycamore carbonization and sycamore metachromatic ulcer. | en |
