| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία θα επιχειρήσει να προσεγγίσει το ζήτημα της πραγματικής χρήσης του τηλεπικοινωνιακού δικτύου 5G και να το συγκρίνει με τις θεωρητικές προδιαγραφές του δικτύου, όπως έχουν δημοσιευτεί επίσημα από το 3GPP. Συγκεκριμένα, θα εξεταστεί η χρήση του 5G δικτύου στην Ελλάδα [29], το οποίο λειτουργεί σε Non Standalone (NSA) μορφή, δηλαδή υποστηρίζεται από την υπάρχουσα υποδομή του 5G, τουλάχιστον μέχρι την ημερομηνία δημοσίευσης αυτής της μελέτης. Θα χρησιμοποιηθούν τρία διαφορετικά σενάρια χρήσης και θα εξαχθούν συμπεράσματα από τη σύγκριση της πραγματικής απόδοσης με τις θεωρητικές εκτιμήσεις. Επιπλέον, θα γίνει προσπάθεια αναπαραγωγής των ίδιων σεναρίων μέσω εφαρμογών προσομοίωσης, ώστε να παρουσιαστεί μια πιο ολοκληρωμένη εικόνα των αποτελεσμάτων. | el |
| heal.abstract | This study aims to address the issue of the real-world usage of 5G telecommunications networks and compare it with the theoretical specifications of the network as officially published by 3GPP. Specifically, the focus will be on the implementation of the 5G network in Greece, which operates in Non-Standalone (NSA) mode up until the date of this study's publication. Three scenarios will be analyzed, and conclusions will be drawn by comparing the actual performance with the theoretical projections. Additionally, an effort will be made to reproduce the same data using simulation applications to provide a more comprehensive view of the results. | en |
