| heal.abstract | Σκοπός αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι να περιγράψει και να αναλύσει τα χαρακτηρίστηκα ενός παραδοσιακού ιχθυοτροφείου ιριδίζουσας πέστροφας στην Ήπειρο μέσα από την συζήτηση/συνέντευξη που είχαμε με έναν από τους πρώτους ιχθυοκαλλιεργητές πέστροφας στην περιοχή. Ειδικότερα, περιγράφονται τα χρηματοοικονομικά χαρακτηρίστηκα καθώς και τα προβλήματα που υπάρχουν με τα υψηλά κόστη των ιχθυοκαλλιεργειών και την μικρή στην αγορά που υπάρχει για το προϊόν . Παρά την άνοδο της παγκόσμιας ζήτησης για ψάρια και την άνθιση της ιριδίζουσας πέστροφας ως είδος εκτροφής στην Ευρώπη, ο αντίστοιχος κλάδος στην Ελλάδα βάλλεται από οικονομικές δυσκολίες. Η παρούσα εργασία ανέδειξε τις εμπειρίες ενός παραγωγού πέστροφας στην Ήπειρο και την σοβαρότητα των οικονομικών προβλημάτων που αντιμετώπισε μια παραγωγική μονάδα στην Ήπειρο, υπογραμμίζοντας πιθανές ομοιότητες σε άλλες μονάδες. Τα ευρήματα τονίζουν την επιτακτική ανάγκη διερεύνησης των οικονομικών παραγόντων που φρενάρουν την ανάπτυξη του κλάδου στην Ελλάδα. | el |
| heal.abstract | This thesis aims to describe and analyze the characteristics of a traditional rainbow trout farm in Epirus, Greece, through a discussion/interview with one of the first trout farmers in the region. In particular, the financial characteristics are described, as well as the problems that exist with the high costs of fish farms and the small market that exists for the product. Despite the rising global demand for fish and the flourishing of rainbow trout as a farmed species in Europe, the corresponding sector in Greece is struggling with economic difficulties. This study highlighted the experiences of a trout producer in Epirus and the seriousness of the economic problems faced by a production unit in Epirus, highlighting potential similarities in other units. The findings emphasize the urgent need to investigate the economic factors that hinder the development of the sector in Greece. | en |
