| heal.abstract | Στόχος της συγκεκριμένης μελέτης είναι η ανάπτυξη ενός αναλυτικού πρωτοκόλλου για την ανίχνευση διαφοροποιήσεων σε δύο ομάδες ατόμων μία εκ των οποίων θα έχει νοσήσει (ή θα νοσεί) από μία ασθένεια και η άλλη όχι. Επιπλέον η μελέτη αποσκοπεί στον να θέσει τα θεμέλια για την ανάπτυξη ενός απλού και χωρίς υψηλό κόστος, αναλυτικού πρωτοκόλλου για την διάγνωση της συγκεκριμένης ασθένειας. Ως αντικείμενο της μελέτης επιλέχθηκε ο καρκίνος του προστάτη καθώς αποτελεί μία από τις πιο συχνές μορφές καρκίνου στον ανδρικό πληθυσμό και η έγκαιρη και έγκυρη διάγνωσή του αποτελεί αναγκαία προϋπόθεση για την βελτίωση του επιπέδου ζωής του συνόλου του ανδρικού πληθυσμού. Τα εργαλεία που επιλέχθηκαν για την επίτευξη του στόχου ήταν η τεχνική της Φασματοφωτομετρίας Υπερύθρου με Μετασχηματισμό Fourier (FTIR) σε συνδιασμό με την τεχνική της Αποσβένουσας Ολικής Ανάκλασης (ATR) και η ανάλυση των δεδομένων μέσω Μεταβολομικής Ανάλυσης που σχετίζεται άμεσα με τον ανθρώπινο οργανισμό καθώς μελετά τα προϊόντα του ανθρώπινου μεταβολισμού, τους μεταβολίτες. | el |
