| heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αναφέρεται αρχικά στην ναυτιλία και στα ναυτικά επαγγέλματα, κάνοντας μια ιστορική αναδρομή στην ελληνική ναυτιλία. Γίνεται λόγος για τις υποχρεώσεις και τα δικαιώματα που έχουν όλοι οι ναυτικοί, την εκπαίδευση που μπορεί και πρέπει να λάβει κάποιος προκειμένου να ασχοληθεί με το επάγγελμα του Πλοιάρχου. Επίσης παρουσιάζονται και τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά που απαιτείται να έχει ένας Πλοίαρχος για να ανταπεξέλθει με επιτυχία στα καθήκοντά του, προκειμένου να κατέχει ηγετική θέση πάνω στο πλοίο. Γίνεται αναφορά συγκεκριμένα στις υποχρεώσεις, στις ευθύνες, στα προβλήματα και στους κινδύνους που καλείται να αντιμετωπίσει ένας καπετάνιος για να γίνει κατανοητή η σημαντικότητα της θέσεώς του μέσα στο πλοίο. Ένας άλλος στόχος της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι να παρουσιαστεί η δυνατότητα που έχουν όσοι επιλέγουν το ναυτικό επάγγελμα του Πλοιάρχου να ακολουθήσουν και άλλα μονοπάτια επαγγελματικής σταδιοδρομίας μακριά από τη θάλασσα αλλά πάντα σε σχέση με αυτή, όπως να στελεχώσουν μια ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία. Πρώτα όμως γίνεται παρουσίαση της οργάνωσης και διοίκησης της ναυτιλιακής επιχείρησης για να γίνει κατανοητός και ο ρόλος του Πλοιάρχου μέσα σε αυτήν. Για την συλλογή δεδομένων στην ποιοτική έρευνα χρησιμοποιήσαμε την μέθοδο της συνέντευξης. Υποβλήθηκαν ερωτήσεις σε Πλοιάρχους που εργάζονται είτε σε πλοία, είτε στελεχώνουν ναυτιλιακές εταιρείες είτε εργάζονται σε εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα. Έτσι, προέκυψε το συμπέρασμα ότι η ναυτιλία συμβάλλει στην οικονομική ανάπτυξη και στην κοινωνική ευημερία του κράτους, με το επάγγελμα του Αξιωματικού του Εμπορικού Ναυτικού, να είναι και να συνεχίζει να αποτελεί ένα επάγγελμα του μέλλοντος, παρέχοντας οικονομική, κοινωνική και επαγγελματική καταξίωση. Άλλωστε ναυτιλία και Ελλάδα είναι έννοιες απόλυτα συνδεδεμένες και αλληλένδετες. | el |
| heal.abstract | The present dissertation first refers to shipping and the maritime professions, giving a historical overview of Greek shipping. We are talking about the obligations and rights that all sailors have, the training that one can and should receive in order to engage in the profession of Captain. Also presented are the special characteristics that a Master is required to have in order to successfully perform his duties, in order to hold a leading position on the ship. Reference is made specifically to the obligations, responsibilities, problems and dangers that a captain is called upon to face in order to understand the importance of his position on board. Another goal of the dissertation is to present the possibility that those who choose the naval profession of the Master to follow other career paths away from the sea but always in relation to it, such as staffing a shipping company. First, however, a presentation is made of the organization and management of the shipping company in order to understand the role of the Master within it. For data collection in qualitative research we used the interview method. Questions were asked of Masters working either on ships, staffing shipping companies or working in educational institutions. Thus, it was concluded that shipping contributes to the economic development and social well-being of the state, with the profession of Merchant Marine Officer being and continuing to be a profession of the future, providing economic, social and professional prestige.
