Χρήση υδροξυκινολινών για προσδιορισμό μεταλλοκατιόντων σε πρότυπα δείγματα με οπτικές μεθόδους (Bachelor thesis)

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PH.D THESIS WAS THE MICRODETERMINATION OF TRACE ELEMENTS IN REFERENCE MATERIALS.THE MEASUREMENTS WERE MADE SPECTROFLUORIMETRICALLY AND SPECTROPHOTOMETRICALLY USING DERIVATIVES OF QUINOLINE AS FLUORESCENT AND ABSORBENT REAGENTS RESPECTIVELY.MANGANESE(II),IRON(III)AND SILVER(I)WERE DETERMINED BY MEANS OF SPECTROFLUORIMETRY.THE MANGANESE WAS FOUND IN A STANDARD BOVINE LIVER SAMPLE(SRN,LOT 15774,NBS)USING 2-HYDROXYQUINOLINE (2-HQ) AND 4- HYDROXYQUINOLINE (4-HQ),THE IRON WAS ALSO FOUND IN THE SAME BOVINE LIVER (LOT 1577) USING 4-HQ,WHILE THE SILVER WAS DETERMINED IN TWO STANDARD SILVER BRAZING ALLOYS (THORN SMITH,CHEMIST) USING 2-HQ.COPPER IN STANDARD BOVINE LIVER (SRM LOT 1577,NBS) WAS DETERMINED BY MEANS OF SPECTROPHOTOMETRY USING 8-HYDROXYQUINOLINE(8-HOX) AS ABSORBENTREAGENT.
