Children characters-refugees through children's literature in the last ten years (Master thesis)

Through the present dissertation we focus at approaching, studying and presenting on the social problem of refugees and how it is presenting through the children’s literature. In the framework of intercultural education and integration of foreign and refugees students in greek schools, we focus on the characters- refugees of the books, in order to understand the life and the feelings of these children. After the presentation of the books, we try to study the language, that every writer uses, and, mostly, the way he presents the characters. Finally, we try to compare the conclusions that we came about each book. This way we conclude at the similarities and the differences of the books and we recommend some ways that these books can be useful and the everyday life and at education life, too.
