This work seeks an approach to professional ethics, deontology and the professional consistency of a Greek teacher of primary school in the exercise of his duties. Research through references defines the term profession and vocation, gives the moral definition of professional ethics and consistency, outlining the educational profile through his beliefs and the demands of society and makes a brief historical overview of the evaluation of the teaching ethics. Subsequently explores aspects of the teachers themselves of professional ethics, the utility of recording binding rules within the framework of a code of conduct for the profession, the awareness they have concerning their duties and obligations, and their views on the promotion and evaluation of ethics in their profession.
