| heal.abstract | Η τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση αποτελεί ορόσημο στη ζωή των ατόμων. Παρέχει στα άτομα γνώσεις και δεξιότητες στα πλαίσια των προπτυχιακών σπουδών, ικανές να επηρεάσουν τις μετέπειτα ακαδημαϊκές και εργασιακές διαδρομές τους και να καθορίσουν την πορεία τους. Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας είναι η αποτύπωση και η ανάλυση των ακαδημαϊκών και εργασιακών διαδρομών των αποφοίτων. Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν 431 απόφοιτοι του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων όλων των τμημάτων, πλην της Ιατρικής. Οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες απάντησαν σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένο ερωτηματολόγιο μέσω τηλεφωνικής συνέντευξης που πραγματοποιήθηκε από εμένα ως συνεντεύκτρια. Το ερωτηματολόγιο στόχευε στη συλλογή δεδομένων σχετικά με τον εαυτό τους, την οικογένειά τους, τις αξιολογήσεις τους για τις προπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων και τη σύνδεση των σπουδών με τον ακαδημαϊκό και εργασιακό χώρο. Αντλήθηκαν δεδομένα για την ακαδημαϊκή και εργασιακή διαδρομή τους, όπως η συμμετοχή σε πρόγραμμα μεταπτυχιακών και διδακτορικών σπουδών, η συμμετοχή σε δεύτερο πρόγραμμα προπτυχιακών σπουδών, η σημερινή κατάσταση απασχόλησης, οι (σημαντικές) εργασιακές εμπειρίες, τα ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά της απασχόλησης (πλήρης απασχόληση, συνάφεια απασχόλησης με το αντικείμενο των σπουδών, απολαβές των απασχολούμενων), τα χαρακτηριστικά των άνεργων και των μη οικονομικά ενεργών και οι προτιμήσεις της ιδανικής απασχόλησης. Τα αποτελέσματα επιβεβαιώνουν τη συμμετοχή των αποφοίτων σε μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα, κυρίως σε ελληνικά πανεπιστήμια, με κυριότερο σκοπό την επαγγελματική αποκατάσταση και επαγγελματική εξέλιξη. Επιπλέον, η μετάβαση των αποφοίτων στην αγορά εργασίας συνδέεται με υψηλό ποσοστό απασχόλησης, κυρίως σε θέση μισθωτών ιδιωτικού τομέα και αυτοαπασχολούμενων χωρίς προσωπικό, με τα επίπεδα της ετεροαπασχόλησης να καταγράφονται αυξημένα. Οι άνεργοι απόφοιτοι απέχουν από την απασχόληση εξαιτίας της έλλειψης θέσεων εργασίας για την ειδικότητά τους, οι μη οικονομικά ενεργοί απόφοιτοι δεν αναζητούν εργασία, διότι πραγματοποιούν μεταπτυχιακές ή διδακτορικές σπουδές, ενώ η εργασία στο δημόσιο τομέα χαρακτηρίζεται ως η επιθυμητή εργασία για τους απόφοιτους. | el |
| heal.abstract | Higher education is an important milestone in people’s life. Within undergraduate studies, it provides people with knowledge and skills capable of influencing their subsequent academic and professional paths and defining their course. The purpose of the present research is the tracking and analysis of graduates’ academic and professional paths. Four hundred and thirty one graduates from all the departments of the University of Ioannina participated in the study, except for the graduates of Medicine. The participants answered a structured questionnaire through telephone interviewing which was conducted by myself, as I had the role of the interviewer. The questionnaire aimed at collecting data about themselves, their family, their appraisal of their undergraduate studies at University of Ioannina and the link of undergraduate studies with academia and the workplace. Data was collected about the academic and professional background, such as the participation in postgraduate or doctoral studies, the participation in second undergraduate studies, the current employment status, the significant employment experience, the qualitative characteristics of employment (full-time employment, the relevance of employment with the object of undergraduate studies, the employees’ remuneration), the characteristics of the unemployed and the economically inactive and the preferences of the ideal employment. The results confirm the participation of graduates in postgraduate and doctoral programs, mainly in Greek universities, aiming at professional rehabilitation and professional development. In addition, the graduates’ transition to the labor market is associated with a high employment rate, mainly in positions of employees in the private sector and self-employed without staff, while the levels of heteroemployment seem to be high. Unemployed graduates abstain from employment due to the lack of jobs on their specialty, economically inactive graduates abstain from searching for job due to their participation in postgraduate and doctoral programs, whereas a position in the public sector is defined as the desirable employment. | en |
