| heal.abstract | Στόχος της έρευνας ήταν να εξετάσει τη σχέση ανάμεσα σε δύο διαστάσεις της ντροπής - την εσωτερικευμένη και την εξωτερικευμένη - και τη θεωρία του νου (ΘτΝ) σε δείγμα ενηλίκων. Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν 127 φοιτητές, 93 γυναίκες και 34 άνδρες, με μέσο όρο ηλικίας Μ = 20.06 έτη. Η αξιολόγηση της εξωτερικευμένης ντροπής πραγματοποιήθηκε με την κλίμακα Other As Shamer scale (OAS), ενώ της εσωτερικευμένης ντροπής μέσω της κλίμακας Internalized Shame Scale (ISS). Η αξιολόγηση της ΘτΝ πραγματοποιήθηκε με συστοιχία έργων κατανόησης σύνθετων κοινωνικών καταστάσεων και ειδικότερα με ιστορίες θεωρίας του νου, ένα έργο κατανόησης ψευδών πεποιθήσεων α΄ τάξης και έργα κατανόησης ψευδών πεποιθήσεων β΄ τάξης. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι δεν υπάρχει συσχέτιση ανάμεσα στις δύο διαστάσεις της ντροπής και τη ΘτΝ. Παράλληλα, το φύλο και η ηλικία των συμμετεχόντων δεν άσκησαν επίδραση στη σχέση αυτών των μεταβλητών. Ωστόσο, προέκυψε στατιστικά σημαντική θετική σχέση ανάμεσα στις επιδόσεις των συμμετεχόντων στις κλίμακες και τις υποκλίμακες της ντροπής καθώς και μεταξύ των δοκιμασιών της ΘτΝ. Οι περιορισμοί και οι δυνατότητες μελλοντικής διερεύνησης του θέματος συζητούνται. | el |
| heal.abstract | The aim of this research was to investigate the association between two dimensions of shame - externalised and internalised - and Theory of Mind (ToM) in a sample of adults. 127 adult students, 93 women and 34 men (M = 20.06 years) participated in the research. The externalised shame of participants was examined with the Other As Shamer scale (OAS), while the internalised shame was examined with the Internal Shame Scale (ISS). Theory of Mind was examined with standardized adult tests of understanding of complex social situations such as “Strange Stories”, a test of first-order attribution of false belief and tests of second-order attributions of false belief. The outcomes of the research showed that there is no correlation among two dimensions of shame and ToM. Furthermore, age and gender had no impact on these correlations. However, there is statistical significant positive correlation between participants’ performance in two dimensions of shame and among ToM tests. The restrictions and the opportunities for future investigations of the issue are discussed. | en |
