heal.abstractΗ σχολική βία είναι ένα σύνθετο κοινωνικό φαινόμενο, το οποίο διαφοροποιείται ως προς την εκδήλωσή του μεταξύ των μαθητών ανάλογα με διάφορα χαρακτηριστικά τους, όπως το φύλο. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα πολλών ερευνών τα αγόρια εμπλέκονται σε περιστατικά βίας πιο συχνά σε σχέση με τα κορίτσια. Η διαφοροποίηση αυτή, σύμφωνα με τις θεωρίες του P. Bourdieu και της J. Butler συνδέεται με τη διαμόρφωση της έμφυλης ταυτότητας και την αναπαραγωγή των έμφυλων διακρίσεων. Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζεται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο η εκδήλωση βίας από τους μαθητές συμβάλει στη διαμόρφωση της έμφυλης ταυτότητάς τους. Δείγμα της έρευνας αποτέλεσαν 386 μαθητές. Ως μέσα συλλογής των στοιχείων χρησιμοποιήθηκαν το ερωτηματολόγιο και η ημιδομημένη συνέντευξη. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας τα αγόρια σε σχέση με τα κορίτσια εκδηλώνουν σε μεγαλύτερο βαθμό σωματική βία και σε λιγότερο βαθμό διάδοση κακόβουλων φημών. Οι μαθητές ερμηνεύουν την έκταση αλλά και το είδος της βίας που εκδηλώνουν με βιολογικούς/φυσικούς όρους. Τα αγόρια αναφέρουν ότι στη είναι «φύση» τους και ότι ένα κορίτσι δεν είναι «σωστό» να ασκήσει σωματική βία. Η άσκηση βίας τόσο ως προς την έκταση όσο και ως προς τις μορφές με τις οποίες εκδηλώνεται συμβάλει στη διαμόρφωση της έμφυλης ταυτότητας και στην αναπαραγωγή των έμφυλων διακρίσεων.el
heal.abstractSchool violence is a complex social phenomenon, which differs in terms of its manifestation among pupils according to their different characteristics, such as gender. According to the results of many surveys, boys are more often involved in violence than girls. This differentiation, according to the theories of P. Bourdieu and J. Butler, is linked to the formation of gender identity and the reproduction of gender discrimination. This paper examines how the manifestation of violence by pupils contributes to shaping their gender identity. A sample of the survey consisted of 386 students. The questionnaire and the semi-structured interview were used as data collection tools. According to the results of the survey, boys in relation to girls manifest a greater degree of physical violence and, to a lesser extent, the spread of malicious rumors. Students interpret the extent and the type of violence they manifest in biological / natural terms. Boys say they are "nature" and that a girl is not "right" to practice physical violence. Exercise of violence both in terms of extent and in the forms in which it manifests contributes to the formation of gender identity and the reproduction of gender discrimination.en
