The body as a vehicle of ritual embellishment and embodiment in theatre and music (Master thesis)

Τσιρώνη, Μαρία

This particular work examines the importance of the body in the art of theater and music. Initially in one part, the relation of the body with the soul from ancient times to the present day is explored philosophically. Below are some methods and techniques related to the correct behavior of the body, which formed the basis for the theatrical and musical education of the artists of our time. It is thus proved that the body is inextricably linked to the inner being and is a catalytic factor for the theatrical and musical interpretation. The body is the ultimate vehicle that carries in it and then captures these two arts.
