| heal.abstract | Η είσοδος μεγάλου αριθμού οικονομικών μεταναστών και προσφύγων τα τελευταία χρόνια στην Ελλάδα έχει συντελέσει στην δημιουργία μιας πολυπολιτισμικής κοινωνικής σύνθεσης. Ως άμεσο επακόλουθο της κατάστασης αυτής όροι, όπως «ταυτότητα», «ρατσισμός», ξενοφοβία», έρχονται στο προσκήνιο ιδιαίτερα στον χώρο της εκπαίδευσης και επιβάλλουν την ανάγκη για εύρεση μιας εκπαιδευτικής πολιτικής που θα μπορέσει να ανταποκριθεί στις ανάγκες της σύγχρονης κοινωνίας και θα δημιουργήσει ευνοϊκές συνθήκες για την αρμονική συμβίωση και την ομαλή ένταξη των αλλοδαπών μαθητών στην ελληνική πραγματικότητα. Σε αυτή την διαδικασία κομβικός κρίνεται ο ρόλος του σχολείου και ιδιαίτερα του εκπαιδευτικού, μέσω του οποίου οι αρχές και οι στόχοι αυτού που ονομάζεται διαπολιτισμική εκπαίδευση θα μετουσιωθούν σε πράξη οδηγώντας τους μαθητές στο να γίνουν κριτικά σκεπτόμενοι, ενεργοί πολίτες που διαπνέονται από τις αρχές του σεβασμού, της κατανόησης και της αποδοχής της διαφορετικότητας. Σε έρευνα που πραγματοποιήθηκε φάνηκε ότι οι απόφοιτοι του ΠΤΔΕ Ιωαννίνων διαπνέονται από αυτές τις αρχές, αναγνωρίζουν και ανταποκρίνονται στις ανάγκες διδασκαλίας σε τάξεις με πολιτισμικά και γλωσσικά διαφοροποιημένο μαθητικό πληθυσμό. | el |
| heal.abstract | The entry of a great number of economic migrants and refugees recently in Greece has contributed to the creation of a multicultural social composition. As a direct consequence, terms like “identity”, “racism”, “xenophobia”, come to the foreground particularly in the field of education and impose the need to discover an educational policy that meets the needs of the society and creates favorable conditions for a harmonious co-existence of foreign and native pupils. In this process, the school and the teachers have a key-role, as through them the principles and objectives of “intercultural education” will be translated into practice by guiding students to become critically minded, democratic, active citizens governed by the principles of respect, understanding and acceptance of diversity. The research has shown that the graduates of the Department of Primary Education of Ioannina are inspired by these principles and also recognize and respond to the teaching needs in classes with culturally and linguistically diverse student population. | en |
